Window 3 - (EMPATHY)

Window 3, entitled EMPATHY, is based on mental illness. The layout and imagery are quite different from the others. Here I created a maze-like tunnel with a person occupying the cell-like space at the very bottom. Throughout the maze are words...I'm tired, exhausted, I'm tired, overwhelmed, I'm tired, anxious - all meant to speak of the feelings brought about my mental health issues.

   

The top arched part of the window has an illustration of a figure looking in the distance. There are words surrounding the center mirror -  I want help - we are no longer taking new patients, I need help - your insurance does not cover this care - I want help.

This was meant to symbolize some obstacles people who are seeking mental health care face.
